Her name was Lola...

she was a show bag. With yellow feathers in her hair and a dress cut down to there. She would merengue and do the the cha-cha...

May I introduce you to my new super fabulous knitting bag. Her name is Lola Laguna. My daughter named her because we agree that she is so pretty and girly we had to give her a name. Laguna is the style name of this Namaste bag so we felt it should be included but we call her Lola for short. She is made of the softest leatherette material and her color is divine. She also holds a boat load of stuff, some of which I'll share tomorow.

Well, I knew there was something about that bag..that's why I tried to get her to come home with me last night. Guess I'll just have to watch her strut her stuff from afar every week. sigh.
Very pretty!! :=)

My roommate my freshman year of college hung a poster of Barry Manilow over her bed. *shudder*

I love the story of Lola, and now sad to say I will have that song running thru my mind all day. Pay back for wheels on the bus. I loved Lola so much I bought one for myself. I got it at the Yarn Shoppe in Elk Grove during shop hop. I will think of it as Lola's twin, seperated at birth. LOL

Lola indeed - that certainly ain't your Aunt Harriet's knitting bag (unless your Aunt Harriet was a bit racier than mine).
