Here's my favorite shot from the 1st day of school!
She's jumping for joy that she gets to get to see friends, old and new, and meet a new teacher. I'm jumping on the inside because the chaos of summer is over. Now we get back into "school mode". Although they're kind of boring, routine and organization are things that please me immensely.

That is the cutest picture :-) :-) I remember the first day of school and I wasn't jumping for joy, it was more me holding onto the car door for dear life just begging my mom to let me stay home and trying to convince her that I didn't need to go to school, while she was prying my fingers off of the door. No reason to not like school, I had friends and a good time, I just didn't like "wasting" time at school when I could be home riding my horse, swimming at the lake and being a kid.

i get the whole routine/organisation thing (i love it) yet in my teen early twenties i hated it! maybe its the wisdom you get with AGE!! x
